About

Evoke by Tanika was founded in August of 2022, and was originally named Tanika’s Candles. 

Tanika was in her first year of studies and wanted a brand that she could call her own. After a little bit of research, she decided on sculptural candles. 

She started out in her flat kitchen, later getting help from her mom as well. They have grown so much up until today and are still dreaming BIG!

Evoke by Tanika aims to create high quality products by using high quality materials and pouring our heart into each candle we hand-pour. 

Each of our candles go through a careful and thoughtful process to finally end up in your homes. 

All our products are made in South Africa. Tanika makes them with help from Lanter and a lot of patience from her fiancée, Edrich in Stellenbosch, while her mom makes them with help from Bianca in Montagu.

MATERIALS:

Evoke by Tanika makes use of IW3F and M3B Paraffin wax to offer the best possible finishes for sculptural candles. We source our wax from suppliers in South Africa. 

We use pigments and fragrances sourced from suppliers in South Africa.
